Feriva ("Feriva", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information openly and transparently. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It applies to this website and to our dealings with customers, enquirers and stockists.
What is personal information
Personal information is information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable - for example your name, email address, phone number and the organisation you represent.
Information we collect
- Information you give us through our enquiry and stockist forms: your name, email address, phone number, practice or company name, and the content of your message.
- Technical and usage information collected automatically when you visit the site: your IP address, browser type and device, pages viewed, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is used to keep our forms secure and to prevent abuse.

You do not have to identify yourself when you make a general enquiry by phone or email, but if you do not provide the information requested on our forms we may not be able to respond to you or process a stockist application.
Cookies and analytics

How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide the information or support you request.
- To assess and process stockist applications and manage our stockist relationships.
- To operate, secure, maintain and improve our website and services.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
We will only use your information for the purpose it was collected, a directly related purpose you would reasonably expect, or where you have consented or the law permits.
Direct marketing
We will only send you marketing communications where you would reasonably expect it or you have consented, and every such message will include a simple way to opt out. You can also opt out at any time by emailing us. We do not sell your personal information.
Disclosure of your information
We may disclose your personal information to:
- our distributor, Dedicated Health Care, where needed to respond to a stockist enquiry or fulfil your request;
- service providers who help us operate the website and business (for example hosting, analytics and IT providers, including Google), who are only permitted to use it for those services;
- anyone else you have authorised, or where we are required or permitted by law.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers (including Google Analytics and our cloud hosting) may store or process information on servers located outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we store and protect it
We store submissions securely and limit access to authorised personnel. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond appropriately to any data breach in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
How long we keep it
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above or as required by law, after which we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
Accessing and correcting your information
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete, by contacting us at hello@feriva.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable period. If we decline a request, we will explain why.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at hello@feriva.com.au and we will aim to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Children's privacy
Our website is intended for a general and professional audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
